देश के 78वें स्वतंत्रता दिवस के अवसर पर ‘आजादी का अमृतमहोत्सव’ मनाते हुए 13-15 अगस्त तक ‘हर घर तिरंगा’ अभियान चलाया जा रहा है । सभी देशवासियों से आह्वान किया गया है कि वे अपने अपने घरों में राष्ट्रीय ध्वज तिरंगा फहराएं और उसके साथ सेल्फी लेकर www.harghartiranga.com पर अपलोड करें । देश की स्वतंत्रता के प्रति आदर एवं सम्मान व्यक्त करते हुए ये हमारा योगदान होगा । आइए इस अवसर पर अपना कर्त्तव्य निभाएं और आज़ादी के दिन को यादगार बनाएं ।

DAY 7 : Activity Gratitude Card Making  (Grade: I, II & III)  29-7-2024

Learning Objectives:

  • Define gratitude and recognize its role in personal well-being and relationships.
  • Significance of gratitude cards in expressing appreciation and strengthening relationships.
  • Discuss the impact of receiving and sending gratitude cards on both the sender and receiver.
  • Learn to create visually appealing and personalized cards that effectively convey gratitude.
  • Utilize creativity to enhance the visual and emotional impact of the gratitude cards.

DAY 6 : Plantation Drive – Eco Warrior’s Planting Day  (GRADE: I, II & III)  27-7-2024

Learning Objectives:
– Environmental Awareness: Students learned about the importance of trees and plants in
maintaining ecological balance.
– Hands-On Experience: Students gained practical experience in planting and caring for plants.
– Learn the basic steps and techniques of planting a tree, including digging a hole, planting a
sapling, and watering.
– Teamwork: The activity promoted teamwork and cooperation among students.
– Responsibility: Each student took responsibility for their plant, fostering a sense of ownership
and care.
– By caring for their plants, students will continue to learn and appreciate the importance of
nature and conservation.

DAY 5 : Skilling and Digital Initiative Day  (26-7-2024)

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲 – 𝟓
of the “Shiksha Saptah” celebration on July 26, 2024.
Children participated in “SKILLING and Digital Initiatives Day” with lot of enthusiasm. Various activities were carried out at different grade levels like – Typing Triumph Championships, WordCraft Challenge, Collage Making, Poster making , All things Animated, DIY bag from waste material , PitchCraft etc.

DAY 4: Report on Shiksha Saptah Cultural Day  (25-7-2024)

Shiksha Saptah Celebration was held in the school on 25th July 2024. Children participated enthusiastically in various activities.
Activity Pahadi Lok Geet, Cultural Diversity of India, Uttarakhandi Song (Bedu Paku Baru Maso), Mandala, Rajasthani Folk Song (Aisa desh hai mera), Cultural Diversity of India, Warli Art, Mithila Art, Cultural Heritage Doodle, Vibrant India: A Celebration of Cultural Diversity, Kalamkari Painting, Indian folk painting (Madhubani), Pattachitra Painting, Miniature Painting, Modern Art on the Cultural Events of India, Canvas Painting (Tribal Art Of India) etc..

DAY 3: Sports Day Grade I-III ( 24-July-2024 )

The following activities were conducted in all the three grades-

  1. ACTIVITY NAME – STAPU ADVENTURES

In “Hopscotch Adventure,” children took turns hopping through a series of squares drawn on the ground. They tossed a small object onto a square and then hopped through the sequence, skipping the square with the object, to reach the end and back.

This activity enhances balance, coordination, and number recognition.

  1. ACTIVITY NAME- HOOP–DASH- ROLL

In the “Hoop-Dash-Roll” activity, children took turns rolling a hula hoop across a designated course. As they navigated the course, they aimed to keep the hoop rolling smoothly while passing through various checkpoints or completing fun challenges.

This activity enhances coordination, balance, and teamwork.

  1. ACTIVITY NAME- POSHAM-PA

In “Posham Pa” activity, two children, acting as the “gate,” raised their joined hands to let others pass under while everyone sang the “Posham-Pa” song. At the end of the song, the children drop their hands acting as a “gate” to close the door, trapping one child who then joins the gate or is given a fun task. The game continues with a mix of singing, laughter, and playful excitement.

This activity enhances coordination, cognitive skills, physical fitness and social interaction.

  1. ACTIVITY NAME- FUN WITH MARBLES

In “Fun with Marbles” activity, the students, from a distance, tried to hit as many marbles as possible kept in a circle in their turn. The continued to hit until they missed the shot.

This activity enhances fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and creativity in children.

Grade V-IX- STAPU and MARAMPITTI, LAGORI, LANGRI

Grade X- XI – LANGDI, LAGORI, HOOP ROLLING, MARMPITTI.

Discription of langdi- As your child plays hopscotch they will be developing lots of physical skills. Tossing the stone or beanbag develops eye-hand coordination. Hopping is a complex skill and takes lots of practice. When your child is practising they will be developing balance and coordination.

Description of lagori – One team will knock down the blocks and will try to restore the pile of blocks while the other team will try to throw the ball at the opposing team. Benefits – SKILLS DEVELOPED: Concentration, Physical development, hand eye coordination, Strategy building and Social skills.

Grade XII – Game – LAGORI / PITHU GRAM

Description – One team will knock down the blocks and will try to restore the pile of blocks while the other team will try to throw the ball at the opposing team. Benefits – SKILLS DEVELOPED: Concentration, Physical development, hand eye coordination, Strategy building and Social skills.


Day-2 REPORT ON SHIKSHA SAPTAH CELEBRATION GRADE VI TO IX (23-July-2024)

“Education is the movement from darkness to light”- Allan Bloom

Shiksha Saptah Celebration was held in the school on 23rd July 2024. Children participated enthusiastically in various activities allotted to their grades. 

Grade IV Abacus Making: students have done Abacus Making Activity today. They have made the abacus creatively. This has enhanced their fine and gross motor skills. The abacus-making activity was an engaging and interactive way to reinforce mathematical concepts and develop essential skills.

Grade V 2D and 3D shapes: The students created a model of Robots using 2D and 3D shapes.

Grade VI Factor Tree – Wall Hanging: The objective of this activity was to create a wall hanging that visually represents the concept of factor tree. This activity was conducted to reinforce participants’ understanding of prime factorization through a hands-on and creative approach. Students performed activity in groups. Creative factor trees were prepared with the help of colourful material. Students enjoyed the activity to the fullest. 

Grade VII Butterfly Symmetry Art: The objective of this activity was to appreciate the concept of symmetry in butterflies by observing their wing patterns and comparing left and right sides for symmetry. Students successfully gained knowledge about the concept of bilateral symmetry through observation, hands-on activities, and creative expressions. The Butterfly Symmetry activity was an effective and engaging way to teach students about the concept of bilateral symmetry.

Grade VIII Worli Art: The objective of this activity was to integrate Worli art, an ancient Indian tribal art form with Mathematics.  This allowed them to create their own Worli-style artworks through learning by doing. This activity aimed to foster creativity, improve fine motor skills, developing the feeling of cultural sustainability. Different Mathematical figures were used to create alluring worli arts.

Grade IX Square Root Spiral: The objective of this activity was to explore Mathematical concepts through the construction of a square root spiral. This activity showed the geometric representation of square roots and how they can be visualized in a spiral pattern. Artistic spirals were created by the students using colourful materials.

Grade X – Arithmetic Progressions: deals with the concept of a sequence that appears in a pattern, the students used it in geometrical shapes to make book cover.

Grade XII – Puzzle on derivatives: The students used concept derivatives to solve the puzzle.


Day-1 Teaching Learning Material (22-July-24)

Various activities were conducted at different grade levels throughout the day. Brief details is given below :

Grade -1 Activity 1 –Story Telling ( Students learnt about health and hygiene in a fun and interesting story telling format.)

Activity 2  Hand Painting Activity (Student had a great learning experience though paint)

Grade -2  Activity 1 –Story Telling in Hindi ( Students learnt about health and hygiene in a fun and interesting story telling format in Hindi)

Grade – 3  Activity – Poster Making (Student created beautiful posters about creating awareness on Health and hygiene)

Grade – 8  Activity – Vyakaran Gatividhi (Students learnt about Hindi Vykaran through interacting activity using smart board.)

Grade – 9  Topic: Iswaran the Storyteller

Class: IX (All Sections) Activity: Brainstorming and introduction of the chapter through module Learners watched the module of the chapter and brainstormed about the traits of the characters of Iswaran and Mahendra. They also shared their opinion on ‘who cook delicious food at home, what other role they play, their routine and other tasks they perform other than cooking.

Grade – 10 Activity – Vyakaran Gatividhi ( Students learnt about Hindi Vykaran through interacting activity using smart board. The activity was done using Flip learning where students only took the initiative of explaining to their peers.)
