An assembly is when the school community, or a part of it, meets together to share aspects of life that are of worth. It acts as a medium for communicating matters of significance from one generation to another.
The motive of having an assembly in a school is:
- To develop a feeling of affiliation and unity among students.
- To acquaint students with the school programme more clearly.
- To develop in students a sense of identity with the school.
- To enable students to share their experiences, stories, anecdotes with others.
- To provide them training in good social behaviour desired in public life.
- To motivate students by positive reinforcement in the form of praise or rewards awarded in public
- To facilitate the moral and religious development of students.
- To facilitate national integration and secularism through all-religion prayer meetings among students.
Assembly Anti-Bullying and Good Touch, Bad Touch Grade: II D
The morning assembly was conducted by the students of Class II-D on Monday, 13th October 2025, based on the theme “Anti-Bullying and Good Touch, Bad Touch.” The assembly focused on raising awareness about kindness, empathy, and personal safety among students.
1. Opening
The assembly began with a warm welcome and a meaningful quote: “Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.”
This set the tone for a compassionate and thoughtful session. The students emphasized the significance of being kind to others and staying safe ourselves.
2. Prayer
A prayer was led to seek blessings and begin the day with peace and positivity. All students joined hands and closed their eyes, reflecting silently.
3. Thought of the Day
The thought shared was “Be a buddy, not a bully”. It was beautifully explained that instead of hurting others, we should always strive to be friendly, inclusive, and helpful.
4. What is Bullying?
The concept of bullying was clearly explained — how it involves hurting someone repeatedly through teasing, hitting, or purposely excluding them. The students highlighted how bullying can deeply affect emotions, leaving others sad and lonely.
5. Why Stop Bullying?
It was discussed that bullying damages self-confidence and emotional well-being. The power of kind words was stressed, showing how they can uplift and heal, whereas harsh words can cause deep hurt.
6. Slogans
A group of students presented powerful anti-bullying slogans:
“Say no to bullying, say yes to kindness!”
“Strong people lift others up, weak people put them down.”
“Together we can stop bullying!”
These slogans encouraged unity, strength, and positivity.
7. Anti-Bullying Skit
A short yet impactful skit was performed where one child was excluded by others. A third student stood up against the bullying and encouraged inclusion. The skit ended on a positive note with all students joining hands, reinforcing the message of standing up for what’s right and supporting each other.
8. Good Touch & Bad Touch
The importance of personal safety was addressed. Students explained:
Good Touch makes us feel loved and secure — like a hug from parents or a pat from a teacher.
Bad Touch feels uncomfortable, scary, or confusing — and must be reported to a trusted adult immediately.
This segment aimed to empower students to recognize and protect their boundaries.
9. Closing Message
The assembly concluded with a heartfelt message encouraging students to:
Always be kind and supportive.
Never hurt anyone by words or actions.
Make school a happy, safe, and bully-free place for all.
Conclusion
The assembly was a thoughtful and well-coordinated effort to raise awareness about bullying and personal safety. The students delivered the message confidently and clearly, encouraging
everyone to create a kinder and safer school environment.
Assembly Dussehra and Gandhi Jayanti: Grade 3G and 2C
राम की विजय थी अटल, अनंत, सबके भीतर हो राम का मंत्र ।

The students of Grade 3G and 2C conducted a meaningful and inspiring morning assembly that beautifully highlighted the themes of Dussehra and Gandhi J ayanti. It began with the morning prayer, followed by a soulful rendition of the bhajan “Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram” and a short Ram Stuti, setting a peaceful and devotional tone. The students confidently introduced the theme, speaking about the life and teachings of Mahatma Gandhi and emphasizing his principles of truth,
non-violence, and simplicity. They reminded everyone of the importance of honesty and kindness in daily life. The focus then shifted to Dussehra, where students spoke about the victory of good over evil and how we should overcome modern-day evils like jealousy, hatred, and anger. They explained that though Ravana was intelligent, his misuse of knowledge teaches us to use our abilities wisely. A beautiful dance performance by a Grade 2 student showcased the spirit of Navratri and Dussehra, leaving the audience mesmerized. The assembly concluded with a short discussion by teachers reinforcing the message that good always triumphs over evil and ended on a patriotic note with the National Anthem.
दशहरा एवं गांधी जयंती विशेष सभा प्रतिवेदन कक्षा – 1 F
“सत्य, अहिंसा और अच्छाई की राह पर चलना ही जीवन की सच्ची विजय है।”
भारत की संस्कृति और परंपराएँ हमें सिखाती हैं कि सच्ची शक्ति अच्छाई, सत्य और अहिंसा में निहित है। इन्हीं मूल्यों को बच्चों के हृदय में स्थान देने के उद्देश्य से कक्षा 1F के विद्यार्थियों द्वारा गुरुवार, 9 अक्तूबर 2025 को गांधी जयंती और दशहरा के उपलक्ष्य में एक विशेष सभा का आयोजन किया गया।
सभा की शुरुआत प्रभु की आराधना से हुई जिसने पूरे वातावरण को पवित्र और शांत बना दिया। इसके पश्चात स्वागत भाषण और विचार प्रस्तुति हुई। बच्चों ने अपने छोटे-छोटे कथनों से सबको यह संदेश दिया कि बुराई पर अच्छाई की जीत ही सच्चा उत्सव है।
विद्यार्थियों ने गांधी जी के जीवन से जुड़ी प्रेरणादायक घटनाएँ और भगवान राम के आदर्श जीवन की झलकियाँ सरल शब्दों में प्रस्तुत कीं। उनके संवादों ने सबके मन को छू लिया और सत्य, संयम व सदाचार का सुंदर संदेश दिया।
सभा में एक प्रेरक प्रश्नोत्तरी भी रखी गई, जिसमें बच्चों ने बढ़-चढ़कर भाग लिया। प्रश्नोत्तरी के माध्यम से उन्होंने दोनों महापुरुषों के जीवन और आदर्शों के बारे में नई बातें सीखीं।
अंत में शिक्षिकाओं ने बच्चों को समझाया कि दशहरा हमें बुराई पर अच्छाई की विजय का और गांधी जयंती हमें सत्य और अहिंसा के मार्ग पर चलने का संदेश देते हैं। यह विशेष सभा हर्ष, प्रेरणा और सीख से भरी रही। बच्चों का आत्मविश्वास, मुस्कान और जोश देखने लायक था।
इस कार्यक्रम ने नन्हें विद्यार्थियों के हृदय में सत्य, अहिंसा और सदाचार के बीज बोए जो आगे चलकर निश्चित ही एक उज्ज्वल भविष्य में खिलेंगे।

हिंदी दिवस समारोह प्रतिवेदन
“हिंदी है आत्मा की भाषा,
यही हमारी संस्कृति की परिभाषा।”
जी डी गोयंका पब्लिक स्कूल, मॉडल टाउन में कक्षा पहली से तीसरी तक के विद्यार्थियों ने हिंदी दिवस बड़े ही हर्ष और उल्लास के साथ मनाया । इस अवसर पर विद्यालय का सभागार बच्चों की ऊर्जा और उत्साह से गूँज उठा ।
कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ मधुर प्रार्थना से हुआ जिसने वातावरण को श्रद्धामय और शांत बना दिया । इसके बाद नन्हें विद्यार्थियों ने कविताएँ, गीत और नारे प्रस्तुत किए । बच्चों ने बड़े आत्मविश्वास के साथ सभी को बताया कि हिंदी दिवस प्रत्येक वर्ष 14 सितंबर को मनाया जाता है क्योंकि सन् 1949 में इसी दिन संविधान सभा ने हिंदी को भारत की राजभाषा का दर्जा प्रदान किया था ।
विद्यार्थियों ने भावपूर्ण शब्दों में कहा कि हिंदी केवल एक भाषा नहीं बल्कि हमारी संस्कृति, परंपरा और राष्ट्रीय एकता की पहचान है । यह हमारी मातृभाषा है और हमें उस पर गर्व होना चाहिए । बच्चों ने कविताओं और नारों के माध्यम से हिंदी की गरिमा, गौरव और महत्ता को उजागर किया।
कार्यक्रम में प्रस्तुत प्रेरणादायक संदेशों ने सभी का मन मोह लिया । बच्चों और शिक्षकों ने यह संकल्प लिया कि वे सदैव हिंदी भाषा का सम्मान करेंगे और इसके प्रचार-प्रसार में योगदान देंगे । उनके उत्साह और आत्मविश्वास ने वातावरण को ऊर्जा से भर दिया ।
अंत में पूरा सभागार बच्चों के स्वर से गूँज उठा – “हिंदी है हमारी पहचान, हिंदी ही है हमारा सम्मान।”
यह आयोजन अत्यंत सफल, ज्ञानवर्धक और प्रेरणादायक रहा । इसने न केवल विद्यार्थियों में मातृभाषा के प्रति सम्मान और गर्व की भावना को प्रबल किया बल्कि उन्हें यह भी प्रेरणा दी कि वे अपनी भाषा और संस्कृति को आगे बढ़ाते हुए नई ऊँचाइयों तक पहुँचाएँ ।
Assembly Festivals of India Grade: II-F
‘‘Festivals are the colourful threads that weave the diverse culture of India into one vibrant tapestry.”
The students of Class 2-F of GD Goenka Public School, Model Town, presented a lively and informative assembly on the theme “Festivals of India.” The assembly commenced with the morning prayer, followed by the thought of the day and the weather report.
The young Goenkans confidently spoke about the significance of various festivals such as Diwali, Holi, Eid, Christmas, Pongal, Baisakhi, Independence Day, and Republic Day. They highlighted how these occasions bring people together in joy, love, and harmony, while also stressing the importance of celebrating national, religious, and harvest festivals with equal respect.
To add to the festive spirit, the students sang a melodious song in praise of Lord Ganesha, seeking his blessings for wisdom and prosperity. The assembly further came alive with a vibrant dance performance dedicated to the Festivals of India. The energetic moves and cheerful expressions of the children beautifully reflected the cultural richness and unity of our nation.
The assembly concluded with a warm wishing note, where the students extended heartfelt greetings to everyone, spreading the message of peace, happiness and unity in diversity
Assembly Ganesh Chaturthi Grade: I-C
The students of Grade 1C conducted a special assembly on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi with great enthusiasm and devotion.
The program began with a warm welcome, followed by a short skit, where the children shared thoughtful lines highlighting the significance of the festival. They spoke about Lord Ganesha, his qualities, and the traditions associated with the celebration.
After the narration, the children offered a heartfelt prayer seeking the blessings of Lord Ganesha. They also sang a beautiful song dedicated to Ganpati Bappa, which filled the atmosphere with devotion and joy. Adding to the festive spirit, the kids performed a wonderful dance performance on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
The assembly concluded with all the children coming together to chant “Ganpati Bappa Morya”, spreading positivity and festive cheer among teachers and classmates. The sincere efforts of the little ones were appreciated by everyone, making the program both informative and delightful.
Assembly Teachings of Lord Krishna (Grade III A)
On the auspicious occasion dedicated to Lord Krishna, Class III A had showcased a special assembly centered on the theme “Teachings of Lord Krishna.” The program was beautifully conducted by our talented students, who showcased devotion, learning, and cultural expression in a truly memorable way.
The assembly began with a beautiful thought shared by the students, highlighting the wisdom and spiritual teachings of Lord Krishna. This was followed by a soulful prayer, invoking blessings and peace, setting a serene and respectful tone for the rest of the program.
Students then performed a melodious bhajan that filled the atmosphere with devotion and harmony. The heartfelt singing truly reflected the students’ love and reverence for Lord Krishna.
One of the key highlights of the assembly was a skit presented by the students. It depicted a powerful scene from the epic Mahabharata, where Lord Krishna imparted life-changing teachings to Arjuna during the battle of Kurukshetra. Through the skit, students conveyed values such as true friendship, faith, bravery, and the importance of choosing the righteous path in life. It was both enlightening and inspiring for the audience.

Janmashtami Assembly (Grade II G)
On the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami, the students of Class II G presented a vibrant morning assembly to celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna, on 11.08.25, Monday.
The assembly began with a heartfelt prayer and Janmashtami song welcoming everyone to the special celebration. This was followed by the Thought of the Day – “Do your duty without worrying about the result,” a timeless teaching from the Bhagavad Gita. It encouraged students to focus on doing their best in studies, play and daily life.
Students took the audience on a brief yet beautiful journey through the life of Lord Krishna. They shared key facts about his birth in Mathura, his childhood in Gokul, his playful nature. The facts helped children to understand Krishna not only as a divine figure but also as a symbol of love, truth and righteousness.
A highlight of the assembly was the joyful dance performance, which captured the cheerful and mischievous spirit of Little Krishna. The students really enjoyed the poem which added charm and rhythm to the presentation.
The students also talked about how Janmashtami is celebrated across India — with bhajans, decorated swings, and the traditional Dahi Handi activity, reminding us of Krishna’s love for butter.
The assembly concluded with an exciting quiz where students participated enthusiastically and received a secret message from Lord Krishna as an appreciation.
The assembly was an engaging blend of facts, culture and values, filling everyone’s hearts with devotion, happiness and the sweet spirit of Lord Krishna.

Independence Day Assembly (Grade: II E)
The 79th Independence Day of India was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor at GD Goenka Public School, Model Town by grade 2E on 14/8/25. They were all beautifully decorated with national flags, tricolor balloons, posters of freedom fighters, and flowers to mark this significant day in our nation’s history. Some students from grade 2 other sections spoke about the auspicious day for India. The celebration commenced with the patriotic song. The students also danced their hearts out highlighting the importance of Independence Day. Then at the end there was a quiz related to Independence Day by Ms. Saumya to all the sections of grade 2. The children who gave the answer were given chocolate for the same. There was pledge taken by all the students followed by the teachers. The event was concluded with the national anthem at the end.
Overall, the Independence Day celebration was a vibrant and meaningful event that instilled a deep sense of patriotism and unity among all present.
Independence Day Assembly (Grade III)
“स्वतंत्र भारत हमारा गर्व है, इसे स्वच्छ और सशक्त बनाना हमारा धर्म है |“
स्वतंत्रता दिवस के अवसर पर कक्षा III-B के विद्यार्थियों द्वारा एक भव्य एवं उत्साहपूर्ण प्रातःसभा का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत स्वतंत्रता दिवस के महत्व पर एक अर्थपूर्ण परिचय के साथ हुई, जिसने पूरे आयोजन के लिए एक भावनात्मक और प्रेरणादायक वातावरण तैयार कर दिया।
इसके पश्चात विद्यार्थियों ने ईश्वर से देश की शांति, समृद्धि और एकता के लिए आशीर्वाद प्राप्त करने हेतु सामूहिक प्रार्थना की। यह प्रार्थना हम सभी को उन वीर शहीदों के बलिदान की याद दिलाती है, जिन्होंने देश की आज़ादी के लिए अपना जीवन समर्पित कर दिया।
कार्यक्रम में विद्यार्थियों द्वारा भारत की आज़ादी से जुड़े महत्वपूर्ण तथ्य एवं प्रेरणादायक पंक्तियाँ प्रस्तुत की गईं। इसके बाद एक मनमोहक देशभक्ति गीत प्रस्तुत किया गया, जिसकी धुन और भावनाओं ने सभी के हृदय में देशभक्ति की लहर जगा दी।
सभा का मुख्य आकर्षण विद्यार्थियों द्वारा प्रस्तुत देशभक्ति नृत्य था, जिसने भारत की संस्कृति, विविधता और स्वतंत्रता की भावना को सुंदर ढंग से प्रदर्शित किया।
कार्यक्रम का समापन राष्ट्रगान के सामूहिक गायन के साथ हुआ, जिसमें सभी विद्यार्थी गर्व और सम्मान के साथ खड़े होकर देश के प्रति अपनी निष्ठा और प्रेम प्रकट कर रहे थे। यह आयोजन न केवल आज़ादी के उत्सव का प्रतीक था, बल्कि हम सभी को अपने कर्तव्यों और मूल्यों के प्रति सजग रहने का संदेश भी देता है। जय हिंद !
Independence Day And Janamashtami Assembly (Grade: I-F,G)
“Celebration of festivals brings students closer to traditional beliefs. It is an expressive way to honour the glorious heritage, culture, and traditions of India.”
Festivals spread joy and happiness, and at GD Goenka Model Town, we take pride in celebrating them with great enthusiasm. To acquaint students with the rich culture and heritage of our country, a special assembly on Independence Day and Janamashtami was held on Thursday, 14th August 2025 by the students of Grade 1F and G.
The assembly was a splendidly colourful affair, featuring soulful songs and graceful dance performances by the students. The stage came alive with rhythmic moves, expressive gestures, and captivating formations that beautifully shows nations pride. Every step, twirl, and smile reflected devotion and joy.
In classrooms, the significance of the festival was shared through engaging activities and interactive modules. The vibrant attire, melodious music, and the innocent smiles of the children brightened the atmosphere, filling it with festive cheer and uplifting the spirit of all present.
Special Assembly Raksha Bandhan (Grade-3F)
To celebrate the sacred bond between brothers and sisters, a Special Assembly on Raksha Bandhan was organized at G D Goenka Public School, Model Town on 08/08/2025. The event was conducted by the students of Class 3F, who showcased the spirit of love, protection, and responsibility that this festival symbolizes.
The assembly began with the Morning Prayer, followed by a thought for the day related to the importance of sibling love and cultural traditions. The highlight of the assembly was a beautiful skit presented by the students, depicting the true meaning of this festival. The skit was appreciated for its engaging dialogues and expressive performances.
A dance performance to a melodious Raksha Bandhan-themed song added vibrancy to the program. The students also sang a group song dedicated to the sibling bond, which touched the hearts of the audience.
The program concluded with the National Anthem, leaving everyone with a sense of joy and cultural pride.

Assembly Disaster Management (Grade III-C)
The young learners of Grade III- C conducted a vibrant and informative morning assembly on “Disaster Management” on 14th July 2025, Monday. The event began with the soulful rendition of the school prayer, followed by an uplifting song and a graceful dance performance that set a positive tone for the morning.
The highlight of the assembly was a thought-provoking skit presented by the students, showcasing various natural and man-made disasters such as earthquakes, floods, fires and short circuits. Through impactful dialogues and actions, students demonstrated how to stay safe and respond effectively during emergencies.
With hundred percent class participation, the assembly reflected teamwork, awareness and creativity. The session concluded with the National Anthem, leaving the student audience inspired and better informed about disaster preparedness. It was a joyful and educational experience for all and the students of Grade III-C truly shone with confidence and enthusiasm.
Andaman and Delhi – A Cultural Showcase Assembly (Grade II)
The students of Class II-A conducted a vibrant and informative assembly on the theme “Andaman and Delhi”, celebrating the unique charm and cultural richness of both regions. The assembly beautifully highlighted the natural beauty of the Andaman Islands and the historical grandeur of Delhi.
Students participated enthusiastically and confidently shared interesting facts about both places. A lively folk song of Andaman was performed, followed by a delightful dance that brought the rhythm and spirit of the islands to life. The performance was both educational and entertaining, and it gave the audience a glimpse into the diverse cultures of our country.

Celebrate Poshan Pakhwada Grade- II
“Good nutrition creates health in all areas of our existence. All parts are interconnected.” –
To create awareness among young minds about the importance of healthy eating and balanced nutrition, Grade 2 students celebrated Poshan Pakhwada with great enthusiasm and participation. Throughout the celebration, various engaging activities were conducted under the guidance of teachers to highlight the significance of nutrition and its role in ensuring a healthy life.
The week featured a variety of enriching experinces:
Day 1: Interactive Discussion
The celebration began with an informative session led by the teachers, where students were briefed about Poshan Pakhwada, its aim, and the importance of maintaining a nutritious diet. The discussion emphasized healthy eating habits, the value of fruits and vegetables, and staying active.
Day 2: Poster-Making Activity
Students creatively expressed their understanding by designing colorful posters depicting healthy food items, balanced diets, and messages promoting good nutrition. This activity helped them visually connect with the theme.
Day 3: Jingle Recitation
Children enthusiastically recited jingles and catchy rhymes centered around the theme of nutrition and health. Their lively performances conveyed strong messages about healthy living in a fun and memorable way.
Day 4: PPT Presentation & Quiz
A PowerPoint presentation was shown to the students highlighting the key components of a balanced diet, the need for cleanliness, and daily healthy practices. This was followed by an interactive quiz where students actively participated and showcased their understanding.
The week-long celebration proved to be an enriching and educational experience for the students. It not only enhanced their knowledge about health and nutrition but also instilled in them the habit of making healthy lifestyle choices.
Earth Day Special Assembly (Grade II & III)
“प्रकृति का सम्मान , जीवन का कल्याण“
Today, a special morning assembly was held during the zero period to celebrate Earth Day in G D Goenka Public School Model Town. The assembly was beautifully conducted by the students of Class 3rd G and 2nd C.
The program started with the thought of the day, which reminded everyone about the importance of saving our planet. After that, students recited poems in both Hindi and English, focusing on the beauty of nature and the need to protect the Earth.
A short and meaningful skit was performed by the students, showing how pollution and careless human activities harm the environment. Their performance gave a strong message about taking care of nature.
The assembly also included a dance performance and a group song, both based on the theme of Earth Day. The students performed with great enthusiasm and spread awareness through their talent.
Overall, the assembly was informative, enjoyable, and inspiring. It helped all the students understand the importance of protecting our planet and encouraged everyone to take small steps to make a big difference.
स्वागत सभा प्रतिवेदन कक्षा – पहली (२०२५ -२०२६ )
“पहला कदम हो नया और खास,
सपनों की ओर बढ़े हर बच्चा आज ll“
जी डी गोयंका पब्लिक स्कूल, मॉडल टाउन में कक्षा पहली के नन्हें-मुन्ने विद्यार्थियों के लिए एक हर्षोल्लासपूर्ण स्वागत सभा का आयोजन किया गया । इसका उद्देश्य बच्चों में आत्मविश्वास का संचार करना, उन्हें नैतिक मूल्यों, व्यक्तिगत स्वच्छता और नियमित विद्यालय आने की आदतों के प्रति जागरूक करना था । सभा की शुरुआत एक मधुर प्रार्थना से हुई, जिसमें सभी विद्यार्थियों और शिक्षकों ने मिलकर भाग लिया । इसके बाद बच्चों को स्वच्छता, समय पर विद्यालय आने और स्वस्थ दिनचर्या पर आधारित एक रोचक नैतिक कहानी सुनाई गई । कहानी के अंत में बच्चों से सवाल पूछे गए जिनका उन्होंने पूरे उत्साह और समझदारी से उत्तर दिया । इसके बाद अध्यापिका ने बच्चों को एक कविता गाने के लिए प्रेरित किया जिसमें नन्हें विद्यार्थियों ने मिलकर स्वच्छता के महत्त्व को कविता के माध्यम से प्रस्तुत किया । उनकी सामूहिक भागीदारी और आत्मविश्वास ने सभी को प्रभावित किया ।
यह सभा बच्चों के सर्वांगीण विकास, नैतिक शिक्षा और स्वच्छता जैसे जीवन मूल्यों को सिखाने में सफल रही जिसने उनके शैक्षणिक जीवन की एक प्रेरणादायक और उज्ज्वल शुरुआत की ।
