“Everybody in this country should learn to program a computer, because it teaches you how to think.” – Steve Jobs
Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Design Thinking activities play a transformative role in nurturing 21st-century skills among students. At GD Goenka Public School, Model Town, ICT is woven into the curriculum to strengthen digital literacy, problem-solving, and innovation. Students engage in hands-on activities such as coding projects, app development, robotics, 3D modeling, digital presentations, and multimedia creations, allowing them to use technology as a tool for exploration and invention.
Design Thinking activities complement this by guiding students through a structured process—empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test—to solve real-world challenges. Projects such as designing sustainable solutions for the community, creating AI-based tools, and developing eco-friendly product prototypes encourage collaboration, critical thinking, and adaptability.
Together, ICT and Design Thinking empower students to become innovators, problem-solvers, and future-ready leaders.
